Hi - I am having a problem creating a file DSN in Windows XP Prof for a visual foxpro 6 database using the Microsoft Visual Foxpro VFP driver(*.dbf) so that I can connect with Cryatal Reports Ver 9.

In windows 2000 it works fine. I create the connection, give it a name and then select the database I want to connect to etc but with Windows XP Prof I get to the point where I would normally select the database and I get the message "A connection could not be made using the file data source parameters entered. Save the non-verified file DSN?" If I say yes to this question I am then unable to do anything with it. If I click configure a further error message is displayed...

Has anyone come across this and found a solution?

I am using visual foxpro 6 sp5, win XP prof and Crystal Reports 9.
