Yea...the claims adjusters were about as bad as the storm.....<g> Three weeks after Hugo I spent 2 weeks in the hospital with Typhoid Fever...When the water goes over your head you tend to breathe in things you shouldn't..That put the icing on the cake....
>Lili might come close but it's looking pretty weak at this point. Plan to have a wet and blustery Sunday and Monday.

>I was at ground zero for Andrew in '92. Wasn't so much fun. Was knocked out and had my skull dented (the dent is still there) -- which probably accounts for a lot (lol). I was fighting claims adjusters for the next 18 months.

>>>I've been watching the weather maps to try to determine which Tropical Storm/Hurricane, we will be flying into and watching from our hotel windows at DEVCON next week. Any guesses? I know it was mentioned by several attendees at the 2000 Miami DEVCON about how we always had DEVCON conferences in Florida during Hurricane season. I guess there is a discount for that time of year! <bg>

>>>Are there any meteorologist developers going?

>>Looks like Lilly might come close....Isidore should be up the east coast by then, if it keeps heading north. I went through Hugo on the S. Carolina coast and that was the last time that will happen to me...I'll be far, far away next time...lucky to have survived it....
