>Hi Len,>>However, I fail to see that this is a "personal grudge" when some 3,000 Americans are dead, many ground into such fine powder that they were literally vaporized.
>>
>>Try as hard as they might, Bush & Co have failed to provide any link between Al-Qaida & Iraq, so where does the link with 3,000 dead (note that not all of them were Americans, BTW) come in ?

>So PM Blair's report yesterday means nothing as well?
>
>The 'linking' evidence is there but I must admit I'm a little puzzled as to why Pres. Bush hasn't displayed it. Maybe he wants GB to so do...

>Don't hide your head in the sand Len. But, don't just take my word either (not that you would <g>). Dig around...
UK government official 23/11/2002, re Blair's dossier :
"The government has never tried to establish any link between al Qaeda and Saddam because we don't believe that there is one," the official said.
"So while the dossier will inevitably touch on Saddam's background and his previous links to terrorist groups, it will not attempt to make a linkage between Saddam and al Qaeda." You'll find that the dossier does not even mention terrorism, let alone links to Al-Qaeda.
http://www.pm.gov.uk/output/Page1.aspThe UK security services dismissed reports on meetings between Iraqi's & Al-Qaeda as totally unfounded sometime ago, if you dig around, I'm sure you'll find the reports.
