I am having a problem installing VFP7 on one of our production boxes. I installed it on a development box w/o a problem.

When I run the installation wizard on the other box and execute the Windows Component Update link to install the Setup Runtime Files I consistently get an error dialog with "Winmain()-Cannot find file" as the title. The error text in the dialog is "D:\...\WCU\runprog.exe C:\Winnt\System32\msiexec.exe". The setup then fails and I can't proceed because VFP7 requires the Setup Runtime Files.

I have played around with security rights and basically given myself Full Control of the relevant folders but to no avail.

Does anyone know what causes this error and how to correct it or a workaround?
