Hi!

Just kidding: you can post this as an example of scanning all files in the project and do something with them dependent on the type < g >

Of course, send it to FAQ! Just to measure which project is "larger", this program is a good one. For me, it was always interesting how much of code lines totally my project has, no matter how these code lines creates < s >. I think this my interest comes from old nice years when code lines were taken into account seriously. Just to compare - my project is laaaarger than my friends ;-))

One note - I made a closer look to your code and think that it is good idea also to account structure of tables and databases. We spent a lot of mouse-clicks and typing to create them! So, for database, genDBC it and get ode lines, and for free table - just get its structure by LIST STRU ... TO FILE ...

>Yes, those are some of the arbitrary decisions that have to be made to assign a value (lines of code, or equivalent) to a program.

>So, what do you suggest? Just forget about the whole issue, and use man-years instead? Or publish the program in FAQ, with a strong disclaimer?

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
