I'm really SAD that I had to cancel at the last minute.

We've been trying to buy the neighboring parcel of land for the last 18 months and the guy finally accepted one of our offers. I had to scramble to put the cash together to open escrow, because we just bought a Caterpillar skid-steer loader about 3 weeks ago and I was already a bit cash poor from that.

RATS RATS RATS... but now we will have 46 acres of oak woodlands (instead of the current 20 acres) so it was for a good cause. And now with the loader the rocks are getting cleared very quickly. ;-)

I wanted to see/hear your session. I'm sorry I'm going to miss it. At least I'll get your white paper on the conference CD, though, right? Advisor says they'll mail it to me after they return from the conference. I tried to arrange to drive into San Diego to pick it up but they wouldn't let me do that...
