Thanks. I think I have to do some theoretical investigations, as to possible differences in overhead (for every packet of bytes sent, additional bytes are sent for header information: CRC, length of packet, receiver, sender, ...). Probably there isn't much difference here.

BTW, at Núr University we have an incredible Internet connection. I tried downloading OpenOffice 1.01 - more than 50 MB - and it took ca. 10 minutes. Now, downloading directly with IE it would take much longer - what made it fast was the use of DLExpert (a download assistant), with 30 threads.
