>Putting appropriate comments both takes extra work and improves the program, so I didn't make any effort to eliminate the comments in the line-count. Although this point of view is disputable, there are other factors that make the line-count much more difficult. Especially programming with the IDE.

I figure if I want to give someone some pretty worthless code all I would have to do is remove the comments. On the other hand some of my variable names are almost a comment in themselves, like "lnRecords_with_no_profile_id" or "llHad_to_open_syctrl_here" in a function I'm coding at this moment. Anyway, if God didn't want long memvar names he wouldn't have let me type fast and they wouldn't have allowed it in VFP. I remember always preaching to my COBOL programmers, "God (and COBOL) gave you 30 characters for variable and procedure names and I want to see you use them all!"
By the way, where is Cochabamba?
