You could do the following:
a) Set the paper size in the page setup option of your report
b) Set the paper size in the Windows Printer Control Panel
c) Set your printer paper size to the required 7 inch length directly on the printer. You may want to consult the printer manual to do this.

If you set up the paper size in the page setup option of your report you could then reaccomodate your controls on the report accordingly. Then recompile the report.
