Yup. I've been using one for a couple of years. With SuSE 7.0 I had to install it by manually editing the xf86config file. Since then SuSE, and now Mandrake 8.2, have recognized and installed the wheelmouse automatically. I've had zero problems with it. My computer at work doesn't have a wheelmouse and I miss it sorely.
