Eventually, I became better with my right hand than my left, but I was still good enough that I could make a few bucks after playing right-handed by using the phrase, "Ok, 10 bucks, and I'll play left-handed."

Interesting ... this reminded me that at the time I was learning to play pool I had a broken right arm. That, combined with a left-handed brother, cinched the left-handed playing I do. I've tried to switch back to right-handed playing as an adult, thinking it would give me more power in my break, but it just doesn't feel right (no pun intended)!!
