A word of warning regarding using Excel as an input source. I was doing this for awhile but frequently had problems when the user would change the format of a cell (say from character to general, etc.) Usually their format modificdations would be unintentional and only detectable after importing to VFP. To the eye the spreadsheet would look fine. Bottom line, not too reliable as an input medium. Eventually I went to web based input.
