Isn't it a duplicate to call CLOSE method inside the WINSOCK.CLOSE ?
You probably don't need any code inside WINSOCK.CLOSE ...
I have done a few winsock program in VB and I never had problem like this..
I did that in VB because I did not have any success using the control in VFP 2 years ago... maybe now newer version of VFP is better suited for runnning
this particular ACTIVEX .
