We could always make it a limited 4 year term and when the term is over, the winner has to serve in the military... I'm starting to like this idea! Now that would be fitting! :o) By then the military would just be starting to feel the effects of the policies set by the winner and the winner would reap the 'benefits.' He he he!

Can we include all elected officials in that plan? Serve one term (two years for congressmen – or congresspersons) and then off to four years in the military and I do not mean the “Guard”!

A song we sang in Air Force Basic Training as we passed ANG (Air National Guard) units in training:

ANG don’t be blue;
Us regulars will protect you!
