I've posted bits and pieces about it here. When it's done I'll add it to my list with the other programs I wrote (this is the first with SQL Server, the others used native VFP tables).
Basically, it is a front end to a barcode printing program. Those programs seem to go out of their way to make things complicated, which makes them worthless for production use (printers on the shop floor production line). The big 3 however, do have ActiveX interfaces. So, SQL data store, accessed with DCVFP, printing barcodes via ActiveX. Oh yeah, throw in an import from an Oracle-based MRP program.
There's also the never-gets-worked-on internal project to replace our multitude of client information systems and work order scheduling systems into one unified app. Revenue works comes first and I've had plenty of that to keep me busy the past couple of years. I'm also trying to convince the county to go for an upgrade of the probation program I wrote to use SQL Server (and naturally DCVFP). In a rather unique effort for a government agency, they are considering marketing this program to other counties, to at least partially recoup development costs. They are partnering with us to handle the actual install and customization work. There is another company offering a similar solution but, in my not so humble opinion, it's not a good or as flexible as mine, plus they have much higher hardware requirements, both on the workstation and the fact that they use Oracle on the back end. VFP and SQL would be much more cost effective.

>>UGGH - it was 10 in the ADD but 9 in the UPDATE. I made a lot of manual changes after the wizard-generated scripts were run, plus had a bunch of field size changes after client testing and I must have missed that one.
