What am I missing here?...
The table says

Date DATE Date
DateTime DATE Date
If "DATE" is supposed to mean 'datetime' (which seems doubtful to me, but that could be the intent of typing it as they did) then it could at least mention this. How would one be expected to know this?
At the very very least the VFP type for Date deserves extra notation to tht effect.
