I'm using version 7.0 and don't have this problem. Have you changed the WindowType property on your preferences form to something other than Modal? For some reason the forms manager isn't removing your preference form from the forms collection. I'd put a SET STEP ON in the close of the Preference form and see what is going on.

>thanks Dan, i close all forms (include the user preference form) but the preference form option still disabled, i see the code and see the oApp.oForms.count=0 for activate the user preference option again, but because the user preference form use hide and not release the form is not released. thats why the preference form is not available anymore, i use the last framework of MM.
