Hi!

You can put our text box class from txtboxes.vcx into the grid column instead of default text box. To do this, in the designer select a column in the properties window, click on the designer form caption to select just a window (to activate it), then drop your text box into that column. Select in the properties window old default text box. Activate designer form again and hit Del button. VFP takes care about the rest.

Also, in grid column also has InputMask and Format properties. Just assign there a copy of it from InputMask and Format in text box.

HTH.

>Does anyone know of an easy way to enter numbers into a grid with formatting? I have the grid's text field Input Mask set with 99,999.99 and it works great after you enter the number. I get complaints all the time that when they are entering the number say 426.32, it looks like 42,6 as they are entering the number and then they stop and call me and say there is a problem with my program. I use the txtboxes.vcx class library for all numbers being entered in a textbox and that works great! Is there a way to use that in a GRID or something like it?

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
