>>>Without a doubt, the stupidest code name I've ever heard. We'll be a laughingstock:

>>>VBer #1: Why did they code-name VFP9 "Europa"?
>>>VBer #2: Well, either it's because it's all wet, or scientists hope one day to find signs of life there!
>>>
>>>bada-bing!
>>>
>>>Sheesh.

>>Europa is the moon that turned into an evolving planet in the 2001/2010: A Space Odyssey movies. NASA is currently considering sending probes there to learn more about it. I'm hoping, and assuming, that most people do not have such a negative view on things as you. Thanks for your support Al.

>OUCH! My egocentric brain think VFP9 codename is Europe because VFP work so well with multiples languajes, and it is know, in Europe, all little folk has your oun language and want all other talk with this one...
>
>Could be next-next version VFP10 codename Spain, the you can use the slogan "VFP10 is different" as we use "Spain is different"... my brain thanks you if VFP10 is called codename "Spain". X-D

José Luis;

As I recall there are 28 different languages in use in Spain. My wife speaks Castellano, her uncle Catalan, some relatives speak Andaluz, another relative speaks Basque, and many friends speak Calo. I communicate with most of them with my flamenco guitar, which they understand.

Calling the code name of VFP 10 España (Spain) is a great idea! Spain has more Castles than any country in the world and over 3600 different types of folk music. And then there is the food! :)
