It is, if you keep the decimals, and don't change the font. The coordinates are calculated in the standard widths of the currently set font for the printer (as in Set Printer Font, qv in help).
I've just drawn a little graph on the screen, using character 'o' and calculating coordinates to row and column. Works great on screen - I can just assume it would do equally well on printer.
