I am using the default method. The scramble seems to be pretty good, there does seem to be some compression of the data and it seems to maintain performance pretty well.

>b) About corrupt files: I read cryptor forces CLOSE ALL when you release it from memory for security reasons... But I ask: If my computer turn off suddently?

It's actually because for you to unregister the files them have to be closed. You can disable that if you want, but they warn you to close them before unloading in that case. I have tried causing a crash with it, and it seems to have no more trouble with that than VFP does anyways.

Licensing is per workstation that will be running it. You need a license for each concurrent user, and it seems to imply that you are responsible for enforcing this. It's not per copy, but per user that will be using the data at the same time. It actually is pretty simple compaired to some schemes I have seen. (FoxFire! coming to mind).
