We need to take a digital picture of an object and link that picture to a transaction record in a VFP table. The digital camera must be stationary and attached to a USB port on the local computer. We would like to interface to the camera with VFP using active-x or other controlling mechanism, whereby the operator sees the image in a VFP form, then clicks a command button, captures the image and saves it to an image file that is linked to that record by the transaction number.

Anyone know of any active-x controls to do this? We'd like to use a camera such as the "QuickCam" from logitec.
