Hello chaps/Chapesses

Will keep this very breif and not bore you to much.

windows 2000 network 40+ machine running windows 95 and word 97 (I know, please no comments)

Running a Visual 5 application that has an option to select an RTF file and opens it in Word 97 Using OLE or DDE (system option to select which to use)

The problem is that when you go to get the file via the GETFILE() function the open file dialogue just flashes momentarily and then vanishes.

Only occurs on 4 machines, have rebuilt, reinstalled runtimes etc still happens?

Any ideas?
