>As Cetin says, 4 meg is no big deal. Ours is almost 20Meg and it works just fine. As a matter of fact, I have found that making things external tends to slow things down as the file system is not as fast at finding the file as VFP is at it (your exe or app is just a table) since VFP is faster than anything I have seen at finding a specific record.
