Native VFP controls other than Forms and Toolbars do not have Windows hWnds - they are user-rendered (rendered by VFP) and are not standard Windows controls. They are, however, Active-Accessibility-compliant, so that each individual visual control has an IAccessible interface, but you may have problems accessing it under XP - I know I've had problems with the IAccessible interface with VFP7 and XP through the VFP TestHarness, which is based on the IAccessible interface, and my general conclusion is that I'm going to have to rely on writing a component in another language (in my case, probably C++) to get around some of the problems I've encountered. I have not had time to experiment with the problem under the VFP8 beta.

ActiveX controls will typically have their own hWnd.
