Hi Christian:

If your only working with relational data, ODBC is the way to go. OLEDB is a wrapper for all kinds of data access and carries alot of overhead. Also, SQLEXEC() + MACRO expansion is a very powerful data access mechanism. Add that to the fact you can subclass VFP cursors\DE's and you end up with a very powerful way to build generic VFP data classes to make working SQL Server via SP's a breeze.
