From the FFC registry class? There is no COM interface involved in the FFC class; it's all done with API calls, and my experience is that as long as you've inserted an #INCLUDE REGISTRY.H in the module in question, it's pretty dain-bread simple. In the Wscript.Shell RegRead method, there's a COM interface, and you can screw it up by having an older version of the WSH, or specifying an invalid class hive prefix in the key value name string.
