I can add the checkbox to the column in the grid, but not the txtnumber. This is the one downloaded from Universal Thread's files. Is there a trick to how you add it or is there something in the library that the grid will not allow?

I don't know the class itself however you could virtually add anything (except a form or activex maybe) to a grid column.
-Right click on grid,
-select edit
-click on your control and click the column you want to add
-from PEM sheet select currentcontrol for column and set as you want (and sparse = .f.)
