We have been getting data corruption, but it is not constant. It will happen about once every 2 to 3 weeks.
We have about 35 users accessing the VFP apps. and about 12 on the 2000 Terminal Server from remote locations using ThinStar terminals as well as Windows TS clients.
All the apps. and data are on a Linux Samba shared drive. The Samba logs do not really show any specific problems other than the typical windows reconnects.
VFP version 6.0
The header table has about 600,000 records and the line item table has about 800,000 records. The other 20+ tables are much smaller. No databases are being used, just tables.
We have replaced many network cards as the first step to diagnosing the problem but there is still corruption.
What would be the best way to go about diagnosing a problem like this. Is there anyway to find the machine causing the corruption, if it even is a client machine?
