Sorry Nikolay, probably could have told you 5 years ago when I was working with 2.6 full time but wouldn't have a clue now. I think you'd be best to have a macro already in the spreadsheet and somehow to fire that. Or do what has been suggested and get 2.6 to call vfp and get vfp to take over. Have no idea on the performance issues though.
