Now I'm really confused. What exactly WERE you talking about when you said "being 'out of the box' gives the VFP Team the opportunity to do things their own way"? I thought you were referring to VFP no longer being in VS, and didn't know what that had to do with whether there should be a trial version of VFP. If that wasn't what you were referring to, I'm lost. I'm also unclear what you mean specifically by "a clearer path to doing a trial version." Does that mean that if VFP were still in VS there would already be a trial version, the .NET trial version? In any case, it seems like a non sequitir in response to my (incorrect) statement that Microsoft doesn't offer trial versions.

I'm not being picky, I'm just not following you.
