Hello Foxperts,

I'm working on a FPD2.5 app for a client, and while the thing runs fine on their office system (it was set up by someone else), I have problems running a copy of it on my Windows ME system here in a MSDOS prompt window running full screen.

The error MESSSAGE() I'm getting is "Too many files open." ERROR() is 0, MESSAGE(1) is blank. PROGRAM() and LINENO() identify that it was trying to open a .DBF when it stopped.

Are there some settings that I can tweak to increase the number of files that can be open?
