Hi John,

I'm about to go to bed, but there is one particular question I'd like to ask you about. To what extent has support for Active Documents been dropped in VFP 8? I understand that hosting VFP ActiveDocs in IE is basically a lame idea, but hosting a VFP ActiveDoc in a WebBrowser ActiveX control is much more useful, and I don't think this notion has been adequately considered and discussed. See, for example, my comments in the thread Active document wrapper. Also note the recent discussion with Anders Altberg and Craig Berntson in the microsoft.public.fox.programmer.exchange newsgroup. I would welcome a cleaner alternative to the approach of hosting a VFP ActiveDoc in a WebBrowser ActiveX control if that could be done in VFP 9, but in the meantime it would be a shame if VFP 8 represents a step backward in supporting this capability.
