This is our issue....
We have a trigger that runs on update...
We are calling 3 DTS packages with xp_cmdshell...
When the trigger gets to the third xp_cmdshell, it seems
to hang. We think that there may be a timeout issue that
is producing a DEADLOCK...
We are passing in 10 parameters to xp_cmdshell which in
turn passes these parameters to DTS

Questions
---------
(1)Is there some sort of time out with xp_cmdshell?
(2)Does the number of parameters passed in impact the
performance of xp_cmdshell?
(3)The xp_cmdshell is executed within a cursor....any
information that deal with cursors and xp_cmdshell?
