I have run code to check the state property,and put code in the execute method, but sql runs and completes in seconds...So these properties of the ado Recordset do not help me.


The sql that I am passing usally takes around 15 minutes in DBArtisan to complete. but the ado object seems to return control back to me as soon as I pass it the string..

I know the code is stil running once ado has passed it to the server, as I can see the temp tables being updated via DBArtisan.
