I haven't considered going to a Devcon after the .NET fiasco at the Miami Devcon a few years ago. I'd always attended Whilfest, since I lived in Milwaukee. My new boss in Virginia insisted that I go to Devcon instead. The .NET day is well recorded here in the UT archives, so I won't re-tell the story, but it convinced me of the value of Whil's production.
