I have seen his presentation several times, and it can be as humbling as it is impressive. My analogy is that while their apps look like a Concorde jet, mine look like paper airplanes. Then I change my perspective, and just think of JFAST as hundreds of well designed, small parts [components] that work in harmony with each other. Which is basically the way we all [hopefully] approach development in our daily work.

They epitomize the ability to combine the individual talents of many developers working on very specific parts that then contribute to the success of the entire project. Now that's team work! You, as can many others, could do what any 1 individual, with similar talents, on that project could do. But no 1 person could do it all.
