Hi,
At only 58 pixel high that would be rather small (an icon is around 32 pixels square). You should increase the size so that it will print clearer. Just set the graphic placeholder on the report to 'scale picture, retain shape'.
Also, if it needs to be only black and white, you can use grey scale or even monochrome (2-bit) to reduce the file size.
