I have written an example app of using VFP7 as a frontend to a postgres backend database server. It is my understanding that Oracle and Postgres are much alike. The example app is freeware and uses sqlexec() exclusively in talking to the backend database to perfrom inserts, updates, and deletes. I also supply the postgres ODBC driver and the postgres backend server to make it easy for anyone to connect to the database/tables to test the example app.
