I'm trying out some Novell network settings to help speed up Lan access to my app.
Its the latest version of Novell and under the advanced property settings, there are a few caching settings that are of interest to me.
The list is as follow: -
Item Options
Write cache On or off
Maximum Cache size 0-65k (kbytes)

My question is would setting the write cache on cause any concurrency problems?
Also would setting maximum cache size to a large figure help speed up file access without concurrency problems?
Currently the Lan seems to slows down considerably as each additional user login.
Any past experience on these settings and advice would be much appreciated.
