What you meant "There is no code to step through"? Did you meant that slow down is somewhere in "between" of the code running? Just check it out to be sure.
Also, is your EXE user through network or installed loaclly? Is your form set file used from EXE or it is used from separate file? Do you have grids on your forms that work directly with tables through network?
