Well Michael, it sounds like your Excel's default way of looking at the date is
15-october-02.
You might try to:
1) Set up your default data types in excel before you copy over Format...Cells...Number page... Date
2) You Could automate the entire process. This way you have control of every cell and every row.
you could check out the book from Hentenwerke called
Microsoft Office Automation with VFP. Very Good Book!!!! It might take a little work, but you have more control.
