I have this silly problem for any user including administrator on Win2k Version 5.002195 (Service pack 3)

The problem can be recreated this way:

Create a new folder on the desktop
Create another new folder on the desktop
Open the first new folder
Create a new text document in this folder
Move this new test document from the first new folder to the second new folder
Go back to the desktop and attempt to delete the first new folder

When I reach this step, I get the message:

---------------------------------------
Cannot delete : There has been a sharing violation.
The source or destination file may be in use.
---------------------------------------

I have an OK button.

I have to log off or reboot to delete the folder.

This behaviour started probably about 2 weeks ago but I am not sure. Since I am working alot with zip files and temporary files, it is extremely annoying.

I have tried this as a user with administrator rights, as the administrator and have even created a new user with administrator rights. All the same.

Any idea why?

Thanks in advance.
