I think what you are doing is a good thing and the demand is there. I am thinking that VFP developers interesting in learning .NET will be checking the .NET forum here on the UT for announcements like this and it is not needed here. I am advocating VFP developers use VS .NET and related technologies like ASP.NET with VFP together. I thought it was great to let people know about the group here in the VFP forum, but it is not a VFP related meeting or user group so it might not belong here in the user group section for every announcement. I'm sure this thread will have people chime in and you can decide on what is best to do in the future based on those replies - don't go by my comments alone. I wasn't even saying what to do or not do, only questioning it and wanting to know if it was appropriate.
