We use VMWare to test, occasionally, and get about the same passes and fails for tests as we do on the "real" OSs.

>I was just curious if anyone with VFP8 beta had a chance to try out VFP8 on VMWare? I know VFP6 and VFP7 do not work with VMWare for testing purposes. According to Christof I guess VFP6/7 had an error in the gen opt code or something which does not allow it to work with VMWare.
