Fair enough....and yes...still lots of old code in 7.0.....

I left AccPac about year ago (yes I left I was not kicked out) and at that time tech support was terrible. Of course I sold only VP and Pro so if your selling Exec (a product I think they are going to discontinue) I believe you had a special tech team at one time. When I left I had two tech support calls open - they are still open (I fixed them).

There is even a free full featured, source code accounting system (written in Java) that matches most if not all the feature set AccPac offers. So today why would you buy AccPac. I can't justify the expense. I have not seen this new Pro 7.0 but I have been told (beta people) that it still holds old code. Why would Lane and his team continue old code? They had three years and the Exec product to come up with new code.
