On my W2k SP3 machine if I am in development mode of VFP7 and my default is set to c:\profiler and I attempt to delete the profiler directory via windows explorer (even though VFP7 has no files open) it will not let me. If I change the default directory to anything else, it works. Then I set it back after the folder exists again.

>I thought this might be the case so I executed all the steps in sequence without opening or closing an application in between. For the behaviour you describe, an application would have to have taken possession of the folder on it's own. I can't imagine what application would do this.
