Mike;

Either change with the times or expire. The name of the game (life) is to be productive and pay taxes so you can support governmental policies while entertaining yourself until you die. How you earn a living is not important. The important thing is to earn an income and contribute to our national treasury.

The difference between democrats and republicans is subtle. The democrats throw the dogs (us) a bone and the republicans take it away. Neither political party wants you to have a taste of meat or vegetables let alone desert! Just wag your tail at the appropriate moment and be happy. This is as good as it gets.

Some people have the will, desire and ability to live through major changes in his/her lives such as becoming obsolete due to technology or recovering from major medical problems. Others give up or require someone to hold his/her hand to survive.
