The backup contains everything, including the schema. The easiest thing to do in your situation is to delete the empty database that you created and restore the backup. You may have to change the location of the database files. If you're using the SEM, you can do that on the Options tab (I think that's the name.) If you're using the TSQL RESTORE command, use the MOVETO option.
