>BTW, did I tell you I got a new home box? It's an AMD Athlon XP 2000+, 512mb RAM, with an 80 gig hard drive and quite a few other goodies. Makes the PIII here at the office seem awful by comparison.
I just ordered a new box and put a major dent in the free cash; dual 2GHz P4s, 1GB 333MHz DDRAM, dual UW160 Adaptec HA, dual 1394 ports and 4 USB 2.0 ports on the board and a new PCP&C case, and am going to migrate the slug's (AKA the dual PII/333 SuperMicro) drives, sound card, NIC and Matrox G450 video card and monitors. The fast DDR was not cheap; I had been skating along using PC133 SDRAM, running at under $40/256MB SODIMM. And the dual FireWire and extra USB ports are already crying out for company...
